- Gunnel Repair or replacement Do your wood gunnels look like ...well, driftwood? Hoosier Boat Works can breathe new live back into your tired, grungy gunnels. We are one of the few craftsmen who specialize in wood gunnel replacement!
- Hull Refurbishment Sure, a few scratches are OK. But if your bottom (or sides) look like they lost a fight with a wild cat, you may need a Hull Refurbishment. We can patch, fill, buff and polish your hull to like-new condition, well almost like-new.
- Outfitting Customize your boat to suit your unique needs:
- Skid Plates - Kevlar skid plates on your stems significantly reduce wear and tear on your canoe, especially useful on Royalex or polyethylene boats.
- Spray Decks - Decrease the wind effect on your open canoe by over 50% by installing a spray deck. A must for serious wilderness travel.
- Knee Pads - No boat should be without them!
- Painters - These are lines,..er ropes, attached to the bow and stern and are very handy for handling your boat on and off the water.
- Center Seat - Get more use out of your boat by paddling it solo! Also this seat is handy for a passenger.
- Sliding Seats - A properly trimmed boat is a happy boat. Sliding seats make trimming your boat quick and easy. They are also convenient for paddlers of widely differing body weight.
- Tracking Lines - You can rig tracking lines with a bridle or have tracking lines holes installed in your hull which are much more convenient.
