ABOUT
Hoosier Woodworks is a small, one-man shop that specializes in unique home improvement and woodworking projects. Owner Roger Kugler grew up in the construction trades before spending eight years at sea with the US Navy, serving aboard a frigate and attach submarines. After 15 years working in the speciality outdoor gear industry, he left to be more involved in raising his two children and started Hoosier Works, the orginal name of the business. In 2009, after numerous phone calls and emails to "Hoosier Works", the state of Indiana's welfare program, the word "Wood" was added to, hopefully, clear up the confusion.
Having returned to his "first love," Roger divides his time between doing home repair/improvements, custom woodwork and fine art for sale at art and craft shows and galleries.
